One of our priorities is to promote sustainable oral care. But in so doing, we also want to provide products made with natural ingredients. EcoFam Mouthwash Concentrate
You can look up the ingredients of each of our products on their respective product pages. But just to give you an idea of our selection of natural ingredients, let us take a look at EcoFam mouthwash concentrate. Here are four of the ingredients we are especially proud of:
● Xylitol – We love xylitol because it helps neutralize acid and reduce the risk of enamel erosion.
● Aloe Vera – We include aloe vera because of its antioxidant properties. Aloe vera can help reduce inflammation while also promoting gum health.
● CoQ10 – CoQ10 Is another antioxidant we include in our products. It offers many of the same benefits you get from aloe vera.
● Propanediol – Propanediol supports good oral health by retaining moisture to prevent dry mouth. Remember that dry mouth encourages bacterial growth. We don't want that.
Other ingredients in our mouthwash concentrate include vegetable glycerin, menthol, natural mint flavors, and stevia leaf extract. Note that our mouthwash concentrate contains neither alcohol nor fluoride.
Nature Offers What We Need
In our desire to promote sustainable oral care, we have gone out of our way to produce natural toothpaste tablets, mouthwash tablets, and mouthwash concentrate. Here is one of the biggest reasons: nature offers everything we need for oral health. Seriously.
We do not need alcohol to maintain good oral health. We also don't need harsh chemicals and artificial preservatives. Nature provides all the ingredients that make the mouth clean, healthy, and more resistant to germs and bacteria.
Likewise, it is our belief that we should not repay nature by engaging in business practices that are not sustainable. Rather, we have a duty to take care of the same planet that takes care of us. That's why we believe sustainable oral care is better oral care.
How We Embrace Sustainability
We embrace sustainability by making the planet a top priority. Right off the bat, this means making toothpaste and mouthwash tablets instead of more traditional products.
Toothpaste comes in plastic tubes. Plastic tubes ultimately end up in landfills. Our toothpaste tablets come in fully reusable and recyclable containers. We don't use plastic. The same goes for our mouthwash tablets. Instead of a liquid in a plastic bottle, you get mouthwash in tablet form.
We do carry a liquid mouthwash concentrate. But it also comes in a fully reusable and recyclable bottle. Choosing both tablet and concentrate forms allows us to use less packaging. We also consume less fuel shipping products to our customers. In that way, we are contributing to sustainability.
